Client:
Milling and resurfacing of approximately seven miles of four lane divided rural principal arterial in St Johns County.
Additional improvements include isolated roadside safety improvements, select drainage improvements, bridge approach slab improvements, signing, pavement marking, and geotechnical investigations. Unique Issues included Repair of approach slab settlement through full depth reconstructing and use of Stress Absorbing Membrane (SAM) Layer; cross slope correction; minor widening to address side street off-tracking; use of Recycled Asphalt Pavement (RAP) to upgrade dirt/gravel side street connections; addition of audible and vibratory treatment.
