FDOT District Two
Design services for the RRR improvements along SR 21 in Clay County.
SR 21 consists of two typical sections. SR 21 starts as a two-lane, undivided roadway from SR 16 to approximately Periwinkle Ave., where it transitions to a four-lane divided roadway between Periwinkle Ave. and Rosemary St. The main goal of this project is to extend the useful life of the pavement by milling and resurfacing the mainline travel lanes, paved shoulders, auxiliary lanes and median crossovers. Other tasks include isolated roadside safety improvements, ADA upgrades, temporary traffic control, drainage improvements, signing, pavement marking, lighting, signalization and utility coordination support.
