This design-build project added high occupancy toll (HOT) lanes to the inside of the I-495 beltway.
The Balmoral Group’s responsibilities included horizontal and vertical design of sound walls and retaining walls, and reviewing the roadway horizontal and vertical alignment. Additional tasks included providing HEC-RAS modeling for XXX Creek, culvert design for the median that was in a FEMA floodplain, and drainage design support.
