Reconstruction of 0.6 miles of a rural two-lane roadway in DeSoto County, raising the roadway profile above the FEMA base flood elevation.
Improvements included cross drain design, proposed guardrail, signing and pavement markings, and permitting with SWFWMD. ICPR modeling was used to show no flooding impacts in lieu of cup for cup compensation. Utilized detour for maintenance of traffic
